Jamarr Antonio Stamps, otherwise known as Bad Azz, was a 43-year-old American rapper. Born on 27 November 1975, the rapper was a member of ‘ Tha Dogg Pound Gangsta Crips.’ He had a troubled life and an unsteady rapping career but was famous for a few of his songs like ” Drop It Like It’s Hot.”
Bad Azz was taken into custody earlier this Friday due to a domestic violence case that was filed against him. The rapper was being held at the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta, California. He was to be tried on Wednesday and waited for a court date in the detention center.
Unfortunately, the rapper could not make it to trial as he supposed passed this Monday, according to TMZ. His death was sudden and unexpected, and no one has predicted who the culprit is, as of now, although the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department told the people’s magazine that he did not suspect any culprit behind Bad Azz’s death.
” Cops say guards were conducting a security check when they noticed Bad Azz in need of medical assistance. Medical staff attempted to perform life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.” wrote TMZ on their website.
Further on Law enforcement sources said, ” There are no signs of foul play, and the investigation remains ongoing. The cause of death will be determined by the coroner.”
Some suspect that Tupac Shakur was involved in the death of Bad Azz, as the rapper got his first hit after the release of the song “Krazy,” which he released in 1996 in collaboration with Tupac Shakur.
Bad Azz and Tupac broke up after some time, which is why some fans and followers would like to believe that Tupac was involved in the death of Bad Azz. However, nothing is confirmed yet, and the investigation is still going on.
